Well, after tallying all the votes, it was close but John McCain won by one vote over the antichrist oops, sorry ... I mean Barack Obama. Thanks, Jozi for casting the one lone vote. Your check is in the mail. ;-)

I've got news. I have an oral interview with Portland Police scheduled for Wednesday,November 19th at 2:30 pm. Were getting down to the wire here. I still haven't heard from OSP yet. I'm going with no news is good news. More to come as soon as I hear anything.

Run Forrest Run

Today I did a run that I've been wanting to do for awhile. I ran 9.7 miles out Brookman Rd., up and over Chapman Rd. and into Kruger Rd. and back home down Sunset.(If you live in Sherwood, you know these roads). WOW. Very tough. You go up,up, up and then down, down, down. Beautiful run though. At the top of Chapman is a stunning view of Mt Hood, Adams(I think), Rainier and St. Helens. Amazing. Carolyn said I should have just went with her and Jim downtown to run but I didn't want to get up that early and it was too cold. Gotta get ready for the next run , "Run to stay Warm" in Eugene. Test

Today I did a PAT (physical agility test) for Portland Police. It's am obstacle course designed to test our ability to handle extreme physical challenges. The course must be compleed in 4:20 (min/sec) and I did it in 3:23. Not bad if I may say so. Although I feel I had to do better than one of the applicants that kept knocking over the hurdles beam and actually fell down a flight of stairs and then literally fell across the finish line. WOW. In case any of you were wondering, I now have a Facebook page. I know, I know. Your all saying, "What took him so long"? Well,I'm sorry for the wait but when your as famous and as popular as me, you have to be verrrry careful how much information you put out there. Contrary to popular belief, stalkers are not THAT much fun. Sure, your flattered by the attention at first but then everything gets all weird. SIGH Then you have to file a restraining order and peoples feelings get hurt. It just ends up bad. Trust me on this one. ;-) See ya
